BOOK: The Complete Books of Charles Fort
AUTHOR: Charles Fort
PUBLISHER: Dover Publication Inc.
COPYRIGHT: 1974 (first published 1941)

Charles Fort, an American, was born August 6, 1874 in Albany, N.Y.,
and passed from this life May 3, 1932. This book contains the four (4) books
written by Fort: The Book of the Damned, New Lands, Lo!, and Wild Talents.
These works are a collection of strange and unexplained phenomena along with
Fort's postulations on these weird factoids. Most of Fort's material was gathered
from newspapers, magazines, and from personal correspondence from all over the world.
Here you will find accounts of strange falls from the sky, unknown lights, sounds and
other paranormal phenomena. Many times, Fort simply catalogs these events without attempting
to explain them away. It was Fort's contention that these unexplained phenomena were
ignored by science because of the inablilty to fit these facts into any system of
science currently extant. His own ideas are both startling and prosaic by today's standards.
Fort neither believes nor disbelieves. He simply lets his reader draw his own conclusions
while postulating some strange trains of thought himself. Fort is considered the father
of paranormal phenomenon and his works are a must for any serious inquiry into the paranormal
